Fresh Stills For Sinister 2!

Previously, we brought you the trailer for the sequel to the cult horror hit Sinister, now you can feast your eyes on brand new stills from Sinister 2!

Penned by Scott Derrickson (Sinsiter, Marvel’s Doctor Strange) and directed by Ireland’s very own Ciaran Foy, Sinister 2 sees the return of Bughuul who is on a nother violent search for innocent souls. Check out the official synopsis along with the new images below:

In the aftermath of the shocking events in Sinister, a protective young mother (Shannyn Sossamon) and her 9 year-old twin sons (Dartanian and Robert Daniel Sloan) move into a rural house that Bughuul is residing in. He tries to convince one of the children to kill his whole family and film the murders. Meanwhile, Deputy So & So (James Ransone) investigates the murders himself, in an attempt to stop more of these killings from happening.

Here at Nerd Lowdown we’re very excited for Sinister 2 and can genuinely say it’s the first horror movie where even the trailer has given us proper chills in quite some time! If you haven’t watched the trailer yet, do check out the red band version below!

Sinister 2 is set for theatrical release in Ireland on the 21st of August 2015, Directed by Ciaran Foy & starring Shannyn Sossamon, Dartanian Sloan, Robert Daniel Sloan & James Ransone.
