Ridley Scott had a lot to say about his sci-fi epic Blade Runner and its upcoming sequel.
With the classic released 27 years ago, Ridley Scott confirmed that Rick Deckard played by legend Harrison Ford was definitely a replicant.
With Ford reprising his famous role, something doesn’t makes sense – a replicants life span is 4 years, and we’ll he’ll be more than 4 years come the sequel. Chatting to Yahoo the director had a few words to say:
“I’m not going to tell you,”
When asked about the replicants life span.
“You’ll have to see the story. It’ll all make sense.”
Deckard will return, but in more AWESOME news Ford will pass the torch over to a none other to mega star Ryan Gosling.
“It was 2017, so coming back it’ll be 2047, roughly,” he says. “As young as you can play Ryan Gosling. He’s 34, but he looks 27 when he’s doing his push-ups. So maybe 2050.”
Blade Runner will start production early next year. What do you all think of the news? Let us know! Nerd out!
