As we draw ever closer to February 2016, the anticipation for the Deadpool movie grows. More news gets released online, people are talking about it and spreading news through word of mouth, and people are eagerly awaiting the release of the next trailer. News have emerged on when we will be getting that new trailer and how it will be released.
According to the Alberta Film Ratings Board we will be getting our next Deadpool trailer next week with Star Wars Episode 7: The Force Awakens. However it will be a green band trailer, as Star Wars is part of the Disney cooperation now and you can’t have a red band trailer attached to a movie that many of kids will go and see.
The red band version of the trailer, ie: the one we all want to see, as Deadpool is at his best when he has no filter and no restrictions, will more than likely be released online the same day as the green band trailer hits cinemas with Star Wars. This will be quite similar to how the first trailer was released, and thus suits everybody, Disney get a toned down version in cinemas that is family friendly, and die hard Deadpool fans get an r-rated version that does him justice.
Deadpool stars Ryan Reynolds and hit’s cinemas on February 12th 2016, and we here at Nerd Lowdown can not wait to see it.
