One star sheds light on their characters faith in upcoming SW sequels! Take a read!
As of the early hours of this morning reporting giant Variety, broke the news that The Force Awakens’ very own Captain Phasma would be, indeed, making a come back in the upcoming sequels –
Quote: “I will be in the next Star Wars movie,” – Gwendoline Christie, who also stars in “Game of Thrones,” which is set to make it’s Sixth Season return later this year, told People Magazine at this years SAG Awards red carpet.
Other interesting news broke earlier in the week stating that both J.J and Producers saw Phasma as a male character, when they were looking to cast Dr. Strange himself Benedict Cumberbatch, but as time went on it was given the female look! (Good call! H’on Diversity!)
With news of Christie confirmed, “Looper” director Rian Johnson will helm untilted “Episode VIII,” with Daisy Ridley, John Boyega and Oscar Isaac all returning.
With the film being pushed from a March 26, 2017, release date to Dec. 15, 2017.
