Chewbacca Actor Peter Mayhew Is Releasing Original Star Wars Script

Everybody knows the Chewbacca. You know, the big fuzz ball from Star Wars who can be commonly heard roaring “Arrggghhhhh”.

Well the actor who portrays the Wookiee, Peter Mayhew, is dropping pages from his script in the original Star Wars movie. Mr. Mayhew is posting pictures of pages from his original script on his Twitter.

The title on the cover page is ‘Journal of the Whill’ and a sticker below with the title “The Star Wars”, The second page has “The Adventures of Luke Starkiller”. As Mayhew states in his tweet he will post a few pictures from his script each day leading up to a big announcement. What could this announcement be? It could be confirmation that he will be returning to reprise his role as our beloved over grown teddy bear in Star Wars: Episode VIII. It must be said that Peter did have a second actor help with shooting of The Force Awakens due to knee problems, so there is no guarantee of his return. It could also be that he will see Chewie play a role in the Han Solo movie. Right now, it could be anything. Who knows, maybe we might see a stand alone Chewbacca movie *crosses fingers*. It’s hard to tell, but getting to see the original script is amazing in itself.
