D23 Expo 2017 Dates Have Been Announced!

As we steam role towards the summer of 2016 and all the conventions and expo’s we have many people aren’t really thinking of what we can expect from the summer of 2017….. Everyone except for Disney that is. We haven’t even gotten to D23 2016, yet they have already released the dates for D23 2017.

It was announced by Disney on Monday that, D23 Expo will return to the Anaheim Convention Center in  2017.  The interesting thing about the 2017 installment of Disney’s yearly expo is that it has been moved from its usual August time frame. When has it been moved to you ask… July 14-16, these new dates will put it within one week on either side of Comic-Con International: San Diego, which side is unknown as San Diego Comic-Con 2017 is yet to announce its dates.

The convention which runs every second year is a celebration of all things Disney, including Pixar, Lucasfilm’s Star Wars  and Marvel. July 14th is when you can get your hands on advance tickets, which is a full year before doors open for D23 2017.

The 2017 D23 Expo follows the 2015 show which was a huge success, not only did it bring us a look at what we can expect from Pixar/Disney, a first look at Zootopia and the announced of Star Wars land within Disney Park its also brought us stars from Disney film and TV, including Johnny Depp, Harrison Ford, Chris Evans, Dwayne Johnson, Daisy Ridley, and many more.

D23 EXPO 2015 - D23 EXPO, the ultimate Disney fan event, brings together all the past, present and future of Disney entertainment under one roof. Taking place August 14-16, this year marks the fourth D23 EXPO at the Anaheim Convention Center and promises to be the biggest and most spectacular yet. We here at Nerd Lowdown can even begin to speculate what we can expect from the 2017 expo as it is faaarrrr to early to wreck our heads with that. No doubt though, it will bring us plenty of mother watering updates from every aspect of the Disney franchise.

Anybody of for a trip to Anaheim in 2017???
