Robert Downey Jr Makes Huge Announcement!

Every year we see celebrities campaigning for people to donate money and pledge money towards fantastic causes, these pleads for support range from the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the ALS Foundation to Cystic-Fibrosis Foundation. They are all for great causes, and it is always great to see celebrities get involved. This year is going to be no different, with one lovable celebrity putting his own stamp on it.

Robert Downey Jr has released a video making a huge announced…. you know Robert Downey Jr, he’s only Tony Stark/Iron Man when he is not busy running around as Sherlock Holmes. He is launching his own foundation, check out the launch video below (Just a heads up, it is filled with classic Robert Downey Jr humor that we all know and love)

In the video, Downey announces to the world and all that are watching the video which starts with dressed in a bunny outfit, that he is launching a new charitable foundation named Random Act Funding. What is fantastic about this foundation is that he is inviting fans to become founding members of the foundation and enter for a chance to win a private, advance screening of Captain America Civil War (not a bad prize for being a founding member), they will also get the opportunity to attend a live taping of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon with Downey as a guest, a photoshoot with Downey, and the chance to share a pizza with Sherlock Holmes/Iron Man himself.

It is extremely simple to get involved as a founding member, it takes a simple $10 donation. and there are a range of other prizes and exclusive founding member merch you can receive for making a donation. This year’s proceeds go to organizations such as Motion Picture & Television Fund, Make-A-Wish and Anti-Recidivism Coalition. Anyone looking for more information can check out the organisations Omaze page.

We’ve already signed ourselves up to be founding member, will you?
