Harley Quinn Movie In The Works At Warner Bros!

Start waving your mallets folks, it’s the news you’ve always wanted to hear!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Gotham’s Harlequin of Crime Harley Quinn will be getting her very own movie somewhere in the DC Expanded Universe timeline! BUT WAIT THERE’S MORE!

While Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn will undoubtedly be the star of the show, reports suggest that Harley will be joined by many of the other leading ladies of the DC Universe in a sort of female-Expendables sort of showdown. Or that’s how we imagine it…

This means that Harley Quinn will surely be joined by Poison Ivy & Catwoman with plenty of scope for Batgirl & the Birds of Prey to enter the fold and show everyone that DC’s female contingent kick just as much ass as Batman, Superman et all. If the rumours are true, then we will be introduced to Batgirl, or Barbara Gordon at least in the Ultimate Edition of Batman v Superman & many who watched Arrow would already be familiar with Black Canary should a Dinah Lance be included. You’ve also got Wonder Woman waiting in the wings with her own movie & maybe even a cameo here along with very strong female characters both good and bad such as Hawkgirl, Huntress, Killer Frost, Zatanna, Talia al-Ghul & so many more! With a movie such as this, they could spear head so many new branches and possibilities within the DC Expanded Universe.

Of course, everything is on the hush-hush from Warner Bros. at the moment but we do know that Margot Robbie signed a multi-film contract (some sources say it’s a ten-year deal) and with Harley Quinn being a fan-favourite across the board, we have no doubt that the studio have very big plans for her with the Suicide Squad, Batman & further.

Stay tuned for all the latest on the Harley Quinn flick!
