You may remember a few months ago we brought you the news that Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 & 2 were set to renamed. The two films are set to be two very different films, that different that the Russo brothers came out and set the title of the two films would be misleading as the two films wont be continuations of one another.
Today, we bring you some more news about the upcoming Avengers sequel, and that is that Avengers: Infinity War is set to be the name of the first of the two sequels which is due out on May 4th 2018. Infinity War Part 1 & 2 are set to be put together into one film. The second sequel which is due out in 2019 has been renamed “Untitled Avengers Sequel”
Earlier this year the Russo brothers stated that “The movies are very very different from one another. It’s not a part one and part two scenario, necessarily. They’re just two different expressions. I think it creates a misconception that we’re shooting them at the same time.”
They also said that “The intention is we will change it. We just haven’t come up with the titles yet. But, yes, we will change it. And, yes, that is a scoop: we will retitle them.”
The big questions remains now is what will the title of the second sequel be? What have the Russo brothers got planned for Earths Mightiest Heroes? At the moment it is hard to tell, as the sequels are 2 and 3 years away. Until then we are going to have to wait and do nothing but speculate.
The two Avengers sequels are set to be released in May 2018 and May 2019 respectively.
