Thor: Ragnarok has added a big name to it’s cast (as if the cast couldn’t get any better). Sam Neil has joined the cast for the upcoming Thor sequel.
Yes, you have read that correctly, Sam Neil has been cast, he revealed it himself during an interview for his latest movie Hunt for the Wilderpeople. Check it out below.
Here is what Sam himself had to say about being cast:
“Oddly enough, I’m not really allowed to say this, and I can’t tell you what it is… I did a couple of days on Thor, just before I came over here. I had to sign all sorts of things that say if I say anything else, Marvel’s Secret Agents, and they are lethal, will come and get me, and probably my children as well.”
This is certainly a surprise, as I don’t think many could have guessed Sam Neil would be cast in a Marvel movie. It will be interesting to see what role he has been cast in.
Thor: Ragnarok will reunite Neill with his Jurassic Park co-star Jeff Goldblum. Goldblum is playing the cosmic being known as Grandmaster. Thor: Ragnarok stars Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba, Anthony Hopkins, Cate Blanchett, Tessa Thompson, Jeff Goldblum, Karl Urban and Mark Ruffalo.
It opens in cinemas November 3rd 2017.
