First Teaser Trailer for Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead MEn Tell No Tales Released.

The Pirates of the Caribbean franchise is one of the highest grossing film franchise to date, the 4 films have gorssed over $3.6 billion worldwide, and in 2017, it is set to add a new entry into the series. During the season finale of Fear The Walking Dead last night Disney released the first teaser trailer for the next installment in the series, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.

The trailer gives a first-look at Javier Bardem as Captain Salazar, a violent pirate who is trapped in the Devil’s Triangle. The ghost pirate spends his days  hunting Jack Sparrow, his former nemesis while killing every pirate he can.  The villain’s plans on dominating the seven sea’s and the world by using the Trident of Poseidon which he is also pursuing. Sadly we don’t get a look at Jack himself, maybe the next trailer will give us a glimpse at everyone’s favorite pirate.

Thrust into an all-new adventure, a down-on-his-luck Captain Jack Sparrow finds the winds of ill-fortune blowing even more strongly when deadly ghost pirates led by his old nemesis, the terrifying Captain Salazar (Bardem), escape from the Devil’s Triangle, determined to kill every pirate at sea…including him. Captain Jack’s only hope of survival lies in seeking out the legendary Trident of Poseidon, a powerful artifact that bestows upon its possessor total control over the seas.

Johnny Depp returns as Captain Jack Sparrow, newly joined by Oscar-winner Javier Bardem (No Country for Old Men, Skyfall), rising young stars Kaya Scodelario (The Maze Runner, British television’s Skins) and Brenton Thwaites (Maleficent, The Giver) and Golshifteh Farahani (The Patience Stone, Exodus: Gods and Kings). Rejoining the action Geoffrey Rush as Barbossa, Kevin R. McNally as Joshamee Gibbs and Stephen Graham as Scrum

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales is scheduled for cinematic release on May 26, 2017.
