Avengers 3 And 4 Won’t Film At The Same Time!

We are slowly edging closer to the release of the next Avengers sequel, Avengers: Infinity War and we are hoping there will be some set photos or set videos making there way online so we can get a glimpse as to what it will be like.

It was initially rumored that Avengers: Infinity War and its yet to be titled sequel would film side by side at the same time as they are set to be release one year apart. The films which are set for release in 2018 and 2019 have there massive production sets based in Georgia. The massive 2 film production will assemble over 60 key cast members playing heroes/villains/support characters on a set that will take nearly a full year to film.

However, to quell the rumor going around the internet, the two film will not film at the same time. The reason for this is to keep the sets and production more organised and less confusing, which makes sense when you are trying to film to films together. During a recent press event for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige spoke to Collider and shed some light on why the change came about.

“We’re doing them one right after another… It became too complicated to cross-board them like that, and we found ourselves—again, something would always pay the price. We wanted to be able to focus and shoot one movie and then focus and shoot another movie.”

When you look at the task they are going to be pulling off, it makes sense for Marvel to opted to film one after another as it would make production so much easier and cause less hassle. Infinity War will pack a series punch as it will finally see earths mightiest heroes square off against the mad titan Thanos who is on a quest to assemble all of the Infinity Stones in the Infinity Gaunlet and its up the Avengers to stop him.

Infinity War assembles the Avengers for the first time since Age of Ultron, the film which lead to their tearing apart in Captain America: Civil War. Joining them for the first time will be the Guardians of the Galaxy.

Avengers: Infinity War and its sequel are set for release in May 2018 and May 2019 respectively.
