Hot on the heels of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2‘s release, Marvel are continuing their global promotional campaign for one of its upcoming movies. The latest entry into the Thor film series, Thor: Ragnarok.
Marvel have released the first international trailer for the upcoming Asgardian movie, a film which will see Thor and Asgard itself truly test by a new foe, Hela.
The new trailer sadly doesn’t offer any new footage, but it does rework some of the footage from the first trailer and makes it easy for us to make out Jeff Goldbloom’s voice as The Grandmaster in the scene where Thor meets the Incredible Hulk. As to when we may get a new trailer for the movie, one would guess that it could hit cinema’s with Spiderman Homecoming in July as it would be the perfect time to drop it with another Marvel movie.
In Thor: Ragnarok, Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok – the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization – at the hands of new threat, the ruthless Hela.
Thor: Ragnarok is directed by Taika Waititi with a screenplay by Eric Pearson. The film stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor and Tom Hiddleston reprising his role as Loki. They are joined by Cate Blanchett (Hela), Idris Elba (Heimdall), Jeff Goldblum (Grandmaster), Tessa Thompson (Valkyrie), Karl Urban (Skurge), Anthony Hopkins (Odin), Sam Neill, Ray Stevenson (Volstagg), Tadanobu Asano (Hogun), Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner/Hulk), and Benedict Cumberbatch (Dr. Stephen Strange).
Thor: Ragnarok hits cinemas on November 3rd 2017.
