New Spiderman Homecoming Trailer Drops Online!

Marvel have treated fans today and continued the hype train for Spiderman: Homecoming which is due to be released this summer. The Marvel Studios juggernaut dropped the third trailer for their take on everyone’s friendly neighborhood Spiderman which is sure to get fans excited.

The new international trailer for Spiderman: Homecoming shows some additional footage which is not seen in the domestic version of the trailer as well playing up plenty of connections to Earths Mightiest Heroes The Avengers. It plays up how The Avengers’ battles with advanced/alien tech creates a new breed of street-level supervillains, usher in by Michael Keaton’s Adrian Toomes/Vulture, which suggests that the Avengers themselves are the root of all the problems in the MCU or more specifically Tony Stark is the root of all the problems. We also get a “self perspective” look of Spidermans big fight in Captain America: Civil War.

While the new trailer does offer up plenty of ties to the Avengers some fans may worry that these ties may over-shadow what should be a great Spiderman movie. Fans may worry that they may not find the right balance between a Spidey story and another MCU movie, but judging by the trailers released so far, director Jon Watts seems to have a pretty good handle on the balance between the two.

Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, young Peter Parker (Tom Holland) returns home to live with his Aunt May. Under the watchful eye of mentor Tony Stark, Parker starts to embrace his newfound identity as  Spiderman. He also tries to return to his normal daily routine — distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just a friendly neighborhood superhero. Peter must soon put his powers to the test when the evil Vulture emerges to threaten everything that he holds dear.

Spiderman: Homecoming swings into cinemas July 7th 2017.
