Jurassic World and the Indominous Rex took the world by storm when it hit cinemas in 2015 and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom looks set to do the same.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kindgom has just wrapped up principal photography in Hawaii and producer Colin Trevorrow market the occasion on his twitter by releasing an imagine which looks to tease a new dinosaur which will be making an appearance in the next film. Check it out below.
The picture shows director JA Bayona and the jawline of a dinosaur, the interesting this is they both appear to be inside a catch which may give a bit of context to the photo and where the dinosaur is being held. Have they finally weaponised dinosaurs or is it just being moved?
Our indication that this may be a new dinosaur that is appearing in the franchise is in its teeth. The teeth shown in the imagine above appear to jet out at odd angles and appear to be jagged with no sort of set form within the mouth. This is a stark contrast to the teeth of the Indominous Rex which had perfectly formed sets of teeth in its mouth.
This new dinosaur could very well be another hybrid dinosaur created by Doctor Henry Wu, the man behind the creation of the Indominous Rex which terrorised the park inhabitants in Jurassic World. We know from the end of JW that he escaped with the genetic code for dinosaurs so there is every chance he is up to his old tricks in the upcoming sequel.
At this stage all we can do is speculate as there isn’t much information to work off at the moment.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is set to hit cinemas on June 22, 2018.
